"Sarath is a black metal visionary hailing from Trondheim, Norway who after releasing two demos in 2001 and 2003 respectively has his first official record out in the shape of this 7” vinyl. “Husk, Du Skal Dø” and b-side “Heller Dø Enn Å Hedre Guds Navn” show an artist who’s proud of his Norwegian black metal heritage, yet unafraid of exploring new avenues, adding unorthodox elements to the formula. Instant reference points include early Dødheimsgard, Darkthrone and Dissection, although Sarath definitely has his own thing going for him. Performing all instruments and vocals himself as well as producing the ep, Sarath is a talent we’ll undoubtedly hear more of in years to come. Meanwhile, “Husk, Du Skal Dø” is the perfect introduction to his universe."
