I am looking for an application that I can take two or more .wav files and sync them up rythmically to make loops and etc. Ive tried some like ACID and fruity loops, but cant seem to make them work how I need them to. Any ideas?

Maybe im just missing something in those apps that would make it work.

Anybody providing me with info leading to an app that works for me will receive a gift package straight from Roy in Svenkta for their help in Operation 033.

    This is very important!

  2. I'm not sure that I fully understand what it is that you're trying to do, but I'll give it a shot.
You have cool edit pro, right?
Take the tracks you are trying to loop, sync them up so that they are the way you want them to sound rhythmically, then use mixdown so they are 1 file. Save it as a .wav then open your session that will contain the loops. Insert the .wav where you want it, then right click and go to loop properties. Click enable looping and select how much time you want between loops.
Sorry if this isn't what you're asking.

  4. WaveLab Lite... from Steinberg. I think that should do the trick.
I'm not sure what you mean, but I know for sure that you can stretch/shrink wav-files in (the divine) FruityLoops Studio 4.12 (which I use...).

well, lets say i have two drum loops. i need an app that will automatically stretch or shrink one to match the other rythmically. ive seen this done, so i know it can happen. I just need an app that will do it.

  6. I don't think FLStudio will do it automatically, but I know that you can do it manually... I've done it several times, but the lopp that is stretched will automatically get pitched up or down...

Still I think WaveLab should have these functions as well. No automatic fuctions though...

Bu who cares, as long as you can have friends sleep over? ;)

    mr. Gruntsplatter.

Yes, thats exactly what I mean. Everyone tells me to use ACID, but I cant get it to match .wav files for crap.
