it's very small, not really scannable. Also fanboys must buy to see. ;)
(Not that I bought it, haha. But I will review, so I work for it)

Member well, being the fanboi I am, I bought it. :-D
mostly for the Ulver track, but there are some more bands/artists on there I like: Antimatter, Jarboe, Daniel Cavanagh, Danny Lilker,... (already had The gathering track)

I didn't have The Gathering, although I saw the only live-rendition they ever did. And yeah, Ulver, Danny Cavanagh (who didn't sing 'Spirit' but 'How Fortunate...', it's full of mistakes. Those Greeks always fuck up: on the slipcase of Thanatos one song is renamed 'Lamps To The Slaughter' :D) and some others.

This is a killer folk based release from Belarus. I picked up a bunch of cds from there and im listening to them finally now to see what i would like to stock in the mailorder. I know for a fact this is going in there. I wouldn't say its very avant-garde or really pushing any limits, but it blends a folk style that isnt very common or heard often (especially the instruments) with some modern ideas of musical arrangements. One of the artists is some professor of like old witch doctor pagan stuff from belarus. He has a solo album which is quite good as well. I let lupus have a copy of it some time ago. I'll post a mp3 tonight.

I just gotta post again to affirm how much i love this stuff im listening to right now. If i was allowed to have the master tapes and splice and cut and play around with this stuff for months, just wow the stuff you could create is amazing. All the sounds are really cool, im not complaining about the current arrangement. i guess what im saying is i should probably move to belarus and get these guys to teach me how to use these instruments haha.
