According to reports on various lists he died some time this past week. No other information has been disclosed about his death or what will happen to slaughter productions.

Yeah, I heard about this too, and wrote a few words about it on Babyflesh's myspace blog aswell as a bulletin like many others did:

Rest In Peace Marco

It has come to my attention through numerous messages around the www that Marco Corbelli, the man behind the hugely influental band Atrax Morgue and Slaughter Productions has taken his own life. This saddens me greatly.

Marco was the very first one to believe in Babyflesh after I made the inital steps of letting outside parties hear my music. He also seemed very supportive of new acts in general. Marco was already a legend whilst still alive. His undisputed legacy will forever live on.

It is indeed with great sadness I write these words, and I can only hope he's in a place that makes him happy now.

I also wish to extend condolences to those that he left behind. My thoughts are with You.

Well this is horrible news. It was my intention to ask him to do a release with Vendlus one day. I guess that will never happen now. Not that this is about Vendlus, however he was a big influence on our taste's and I was always proud of the fact he worked with Babyflesh. I hope he found some peace.
