Let's revive this board a bit with a game. We're doing this similar contest on another board and it's fun cause it makes you look up old records again. Anyway the goal of the game is simple. I'll start with posting a sample/intro from a movie that a band used on one of his albums. You have to guess the band, song, album and if possible the movie. The one who gives the correct answer, can post the next intro/sample and so on and on.
ps keep it challenging and don't just google it...
I'll start of with an easy one:

There is also love and life and hope.

Very little hope I assure you. No. If a god
of love and life ever did exist... he is long
since dead. Someone... something rules in his
place.

god dammit, I could have the band reference for that Theatre of Tragedy one. although not the the movie.
at the same time, here's an easy one (at least as far as movies go, but I'm not sure how many times it's been quoted in music):
man one: "I believe in the life eternal... as promised to us by our lord jesus christ!!!"

I was just bumpin' Blood Duster's "Yeest...", which contains more than a few movie samples. One of them is from "Bloodsucking Freaks". Can anyone name the others?
