The seventh Seal is great! I really enjoyed it. Begotten is amazing, great cinematography, It kinda has a El Topo / Eraserhead vibe to it.
I love the warriors haha The Baseball Furies is my favorite gang.
I'm not a huge Jet Li fan so I think i'll pass on this new movie he has coming out

The only movie I really have seen recently is Zatoichi. A pretty good Samurai flick.

i got netflix and they got some good stuff.
i wanna see the last jet li movie that movies gonna rock.
Begotten is an old favorite of mine as is the seventh seal (and most of bergmans work).
If you're looking for something interesting and very depressing check out Kuroi ame (black rain) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097694/ . Whenever i mention this movie it causes a bunch of confusion because there was a movie called black rain in the US that featured a cop in japan that was also made in 1989, these are very different movies. On a similar depressing note check out Come And See a film about the invasion of belrauss by the nazis http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091251/ its very disturbing and has an innovative noise/ambient soundtrack.

Watched HOSTEL tonight. Enjoyable, albeit abit hyped up beyond its actual delivery I think. I liked the Miike cameo, definately didn't expect that!

I agree that the movie Hostel was a little overhyped but it was an enjoyable flick. I thought it would be far more brutal based on what everyone was saying.

Oh ... I so want to see Jodorowsky's "El Topo" & "The Holy Mountain". I've been putting off "The Seventh Seal" because it's such a dated film.

I finally saw The Holy Mountain a while back and it's awesome, and definitely something to watch again after reading more, as it's chockful with references to 'The Work'.
