I had two weeks off and made it a movie festival. :)
Mystics In Bali - Hilarious Indonesian horror movie.
Ten - Following an Iranian taxidriver from the dashboard and seeing driving around all kinds of folks, from her son to a travestite hooker, having all kinds of discussions.
20 Angosht - Directing debut from Ten main character Mania Akbari, a bit like Ten, but more about problems that couples have.
Козият рог - Epic story about a girl trained to be a man by her father, as he decided this world is not for women after finding his wife raped and killed in front of his daughter's eyes. He eventually has her avenging the Ottoman oppressors responsible for the horrid act (it's 17th century Bulgaria), but then she falls in love with a shepherd...
Gli orrori di del castello Norimberga - Gothic horror, delivering what most Hammer horror only promises.
La maschera del demonio - Gothic horror, delivering what most Hammer horror only promises and even more than that.
Reazione di catena - Giallo with an extremely high murdercount, groovy soundtrack by Stelvio Cipriani
L'Assassino รจ costretto ad uccidere ancora - An even better giallo, with some intense music too. I didn't know the director or the composer, but they did an excellent job.
La tarantola dal ventre nero - And another giallo classic, amazing stuff and the music by Ennio Morricone is just as amazing.
Blood Feast - Hilarious protoslasher by Herschell Gordon Lewis
A Mighty Wind & Best In Show - Nice spinoffs from This Is Spinal Tap
Sokout - Another beautiful, poetic movie by Mohsen Makhmalbaf
Lifespan - Existential thriller, interesting theme/story, it's situated in Amsterdam, so there were some Dutch actors speaking English with a heavy accent. Terry Riley did the music which makes it even more peculiar.
Dondurmam Gaymak - Turkish comedy with music by BaBa Zula. A movie by and for Turkish people, but I know just enough about that country to enjoy this film. The underlying them is the modernity vs tradition discussion, but respectfully poking fun to both approaches.

Inland Empire
I just started this one and am a little over an hour into it. It's a slow moving yet ominous movie.

Red Dawn, been years since I've seen this movie. And it's just as corny as I remember.
