VOMIT - Still Rotting LP (The Past Is Alive)
Formed in 1985, Vomit were - along with Mayhem - one of the earliest proper extreme metal bands in Norway. In fact, two members of Vomit were in Mayhem for a short time in 1987/88, although no recordings were made with that lineup (apart from long lost rehearsaltapes).
"Still Rotting" is the band's first official release since 1987, and includes rehearsaltapes culled from five different sessions in 1986-87. The sound has been splendidly remastered by Mr. James Plotkin of Khlyst (and ex-Khanate), and the artwork is done by Fredrik Biffen (covers for Nocturnal Breed, Chrome Division and many more). The LP comes with a 11"x11" booklet featuring fanzine-reviews, old letters, photos and other scrapbook-clippings.
